For the months of September and October, Ligaya Design will be working on small projects for a handful of clients.

Regrettably, I will on leave part-time for September and October - to focus on a few professional certification exams and to work on my portfolio. Work on my pages will still be ongoing during my leave. Stay tuned for an upcoming newsletter in late fall.

Fortunately I will be back full-time on Ligaya Design by mid-November. Then I plan to focus more on working with other architects, designers, and contractors. Additionally I am working with a design business coach and a business mentor to define my design market and consulting focus further. Details to be announced.

• In early June I became a LEED Accredited Professional, with a focus in Building Design & Construction (LEED AP BD+C). For those new or unfamiliar with the design and construction industry, LEED is short for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.
• Starting with September, I will be the new House Committee Chair for the DC Metro chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute.
• Also I am an associate member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA).
